Made here in the UK in 1999, our Kemble Oxford comes to us from a private home and is in fabulous technical and cosmetic condition. Kemble pianos were built here until 2008 alongside equivalent Yamaha models, in this instance the popular Yamaha P110. With a softer, more mellow voicing than its Yamaha cousin along with a wonderful mahogany veneer finish, the traditionally styled Kemble Oxford is perfect mix of Japanese precision engineered components and British cabinetry and piano building heritage.
Featuring a solid spruce Strunz soundboard, produced on the German-Austrian border from white alpine spruce, the piano has a distinctly European tonal quality, and with an easy and responsive touch is equally well suited to the beginner or more advanced pianist. Standing at 110cm tall with 3 pedals including a celeste for quiet practice, it is a great choice of compact upright for the home and a handsome furniture piece to boot.
