New Bats: Place bat horizontally, and apply bat oil with a soft rag. Avoiding handle and splice.

During Use: Apply two or three more applications of bat oil to face, edges and toe at two or three week intervals. Slowly “knock in” with cricket ball mallet. Or by playing in nets with old ball. Do not use composition or cheap balls.

In regular Use: Clean blade with fine sandpaper and lightly oil every three months.
