Rotating skateboards are specifically used to treat vestibular nystagmus and for therapeutic stimulation of the vestibular system in cases of hyposensitivity. Rotating equipment is also used to develop rotational movements in the trunk and the ability to isolate eye movement from head movement and primitive reflexes through strengthening flexor muscles.
