The 996 uses lightweight mesh, allowing your feet to breathe, surrounded by a secure rubber NDure toe cage giving you the breathability of a running shoe, and the durability of a cross trainer. The 996 also uses the same lightweight REVLite midsole that makes our 890 running shoes so popular. Overall, this shoe combines the go-to durability of our venerable 856s with the cushioning and comfort of our 890s, making it the right game-day shoe.
