Goggle lenses are not designed to withstand impact from hard objects. They are designed in provide the wearer protection from wind and snow only.
Lens Installation Instructions:
1. Carefully remove the old lens by separating the frame from the lens. Begin at the top and work around the perimeter of the frame.
2. Begin installation of the lens at the nose area. Seat the lens at the nose bridge of the goggle frame and then engage the dovetail or keyhole (depending on frame: style) on each side of the nose. Be sure that the frame is securely attached at the nose area.
3. Work across the bottom edge of the frame to the right side and engage the keyholes in the lens with the corresponding post in the frame so it may be necessary to stretch the frame lightly as you progress in order to align the posts with the lens keyholes
Repeat the procedure on the left side of the frame and continue working your way around the frame engaging all frame posts with the lens keyholes.
Note: Working with the goggle frame at room temperature will make lensinstallation easier.
Be sure that the entire lens is securely seated in the frame slot and that all frame retention posts as are fully engaged with the lens keyhole before use.
Cleaning Instructions:
Every goggle lens is treated on the inside surface with Smiths’ exclusive FOG-X chemical fog inhibitor. FOG-X is permanently bonded to the lens surface and is the most effective anti-fog treatment available today.
Special handling is required when caring for your goggle lens. When the inside lens surface becomes wet, the material softens and is very susceptible to being scratched.
Either allow the lens to air-dry or gently blot the lens surface with a soft cloth to remove the moisture.
When the lens is dry, you may remove any smudges by breathing on the lens surface to lightly moisten and then gently wipe dry with a soft doth.
